Funding is needed for a research project at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, for a study to document Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster as a best practice for women preparing for mastectomies and lumpectomies. Susan L. Troyan, MD, Surgical Director of the BreastCare Center is the surgeon leading this study. Phase I began July 2008. $20,000 is needed for Phase II.
